Real professional project for FishLoose (but the handcrafter stopped his activities since).

The firm Fishloose made handmade lures and also shared tutorials in order to learn how to create your own wooden fishing lure.
I found that 3D printing could be an easy alternative for people who want to customize their lures as it is really complex to make lures out of wood. That is why I faced this issue by taking part in the 3D conception of fishing lures. This approach developed a co-design and satisfied various tastes, without having to offer a huge range, which was impossible for such a small company.
For resistance issues, the pieces of the frame had to be tightly attached to make it stronger because the printed material is fragile. Before the pieces of the lure were finally assembled, pearls and sinkers could be placed in very specific cavities to balance the device, and to make it noisy so that it may easily attract the fish and properly swim. Then the parts just had to be glued together. The printed layers could be smoothed with acetone. Finally the device had to be covered with resin to make it waterproof so that the water cannot come inside the lure and disturb the swim.
